Artisan cheese has become more popular with consumers throughout the nation. People have grown tired of the mass produced "taste alike" packaged cheese they find in the grocery store. Few alternatives were available until the internet opened doors to some of the smaller produces. Our customers have encouraged us to search out some of these artisan cheeses with two specific goals in mind. Best quality at a reasonable price. So, being customer driven as we are we ventured forth into the unknown and were quite delighted when our selections received high praises and repeat orders. Although, we remain a specialty meat supplier, our newest adventures seem to be taking us deeper into the distribution of artisan cheese.

We are starting small because we are fussy about the products we sell. Therefore, we will be adding new cheeses as new suppliers are qualified and the demand for the product warrants.

DANISH GOUDA
Danish Gouda, plain, smoked or with wild rice, chipotle pepper or Tomato Basil are highly sought after cheeses that we have carried for several years. Made on a working farm in the old Danish traditional methods. Handmade and aged to perfection these cheeses are the best there is. Gouda has a creamy nutlike flavor reminiscent of cashews.

DANISH TILSET
Danish Tilset is also a super fine cheese made at this factory which is the only factory in the country to make this cheese. Tilset has the texture and taste somewhere between swiss and cheddar.

WHITE CHEDDAR
Venison America includes some of the best 3 year old White Cheddar to be found. Produced in a small factory in Wisconsin, this cheddar is hand made and aged to perfection using the same processes that have been employed by old-fashioned cheese makers for centuries. Attention to detail and small quantity production insure a creamy aged cheddar with a full bodied well balanced flavor that begs the diner to have “just one more bite.”
